Most left-chest and hat-front logos fall at or under 6,000 stitches. Bigger or denser designs add per 1,000 stitches:

Why prices vary between shops
Some shops quote only all-in numbers, some charge setup on every order, some set high minimums. Ask any shop for the blank price, the embroidery price, the stitch count and the one-time fees. Then compare. Leather patch pricing is different; see leather patch hats.

How to lower your cost per piece
- Combine styles into one order. Polos, jackets and hats with the same logo count toward one tier.
- Keep the logo under 6,000 stitches. Smaller, simpler marks cost less.
- Order 12 or more. The jump from 1-11 ($12.00) to 12-23 ($6.00) is the biggest drop on the matrix.
- Reorder with the same design. Digitizing is charged once.
- Pick a value blank. A YP Classics 6606 hat is $2.40 less than a Richardson 112 at every tier.

No. Embroidery is priced by stitch count, not thread colors.
